Institutional Research
What is IRB?
The PC Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews and approves all research involving human subjects to ensure that it is conducted in accordance with all federal, institutional, and ethical guidelines. If the research involves PC faculty, staff, and/or students, this research may also need approval of the Internal Research Review Board (IRRB). All human subject research under the aegis of PC, regardless of funding source, must be reviewed and approved by the IRB before research can begin.
